1. Who can attend?
Glee Birmingham is open to trade professionals within the Gardening industry and does not permit members of the general public. Visitors from all types of gardening businesses are welcome.

2. How can I register for the show?
Registration will be soon available!

Please note, our full registration is open 12 weeks before the start of the show. Prior to this, you may register your interest in attending the show which will mean you are notified once full registration for the show opens.

It is a condition of entry to wear In order to gain access to the event, you must present a valid visitor or exhibitor badge upon request.

3. I am a student, am I able to attend the show?
Students of Undergraduate level and above (individuals and groups) on relevant courses of study are welcome to attend the show but will not be permitted to trade. Students will be asked to show an NUS Identity card or equivalent student identity. To register as a student, please follow the normal registration procedure.

4. Can I bring children?
We advise that children under 16 do not attend the event as this is a trade only event and there are no crèche facilities. A Childs entry pass will be required for all those under the age of 16 – these can only be picked up on the day from the registration desks in the main entrance. Anyone over the age of 16 will be required to register for the event via the normal process.

5. Is the show free to attend?
Entry is free to all trade visitors (or those looking to start a new business in the next 12 months) who register in advance - entry on the day without a badge is £20.00.

6. Can I register upon arrival to the show?
Yes, you may register upon arrival to the show however there is an on the day registration and entry free of £20.00 to do so.

7. When will I receive my Entry badge?
We do not post out tickets for Glee as we have decided to GO GREEN. You will recieve your ticket via email once you have completed your registration. If you are unable to access your ticket on your email, please go to the registration desks on arrival at the show and they will print it for you.

8. Can I edit my registration details?
If you wish to edit your registration details, please go our registration page, enter your registration key (from your confirmation email) and insert it into the registration key box at the start of the registration process. This will open your previous registration and all details can be edited.

Alternatively, you can click on ‘edit details’ on the confirmation email after you have registered and this will also take you to your registration details.

NB: The option of having your entry badge posted cannot be changed in the 2 week run up to the show open days as badges will have already been posted.

9. Is my show registration, date specific?
Registration for the show is non-date specific. Once you have registered and have printed your e-badge/received your entry badge you are able to attend the show on any of the show open days and as many times as you wish.

10. Where does my visitor entry badge allow me access to?
Your e-badge/entry badge allows you access to the whole show unless stated otherwise. For example, if your e-badge/entry badge states ‘Press’ you will have access to the show Press Lounge.

11. What if I have forgotten my e-badge/entry badge when I arrive at the show?
Registration staff at the main registration desks will be able to find you by company name/surname on our data base to print your entry badge. If you can, please provide proof of company name or surname via business card or confirmation email etc. Entry to the show without entry ticket/ badge will be done at the registration staffs discretion.

2. How do I get there?

3.Where do I park?

Parking is free of charge for all Visitors to Glee Birmingham. Parking is available in our North, South and East Car Parks, with regular shuttle buses (free of charge) to take you from these car parks to the halls.

4.Where can I stay?

Event Express, in association with i2i Events Group offer discounted rates for visitors and exhibitors at a wide range of well-located hotels. We recommend that you book early to secure your preferred hotel. Please see our dedicated accommodation page here.

5. Is there free WIFI at the venue?
Yes, free WIFI is available throughout all the Show Halls at the NEC Birmingham. To connect, select ‘NEC Free Wifi’, and fill in the information form on your browser page.

6. What date/time does the show open?
Show opening times are as follows:
Monday 14th September: 09:00 – 18:00
Tuesday 15th September: 09:00 – 18:00
Wednesday 16th September: 09:00 – 16:00

7. Is there a cloakroom?
Yes, there are cloakrooms available in the main piazza at all show all entrances. Prices start at £1.00 per item. Items are left at your own risk. Large cases accepted within reason.

8. How do I find my way around the show once I have arrived?
On arrival to the show, show guides with floor plans will be available to collect at the entrance.

9. Is there an ATM?
ATMS are located in the Atrium, opposite Hall 8 and next to Hall 9. There is also full banking facilities available at the Natwest Bank located in the Piazza outside Hall 4. More ATMS are located adjacent to Hall 1.

10. Are there disabled facilities at the venue?

11. Where can I eat?
Themed cafés serving light snacks and refreshments can be found within the halls alongside numerous bars, restaurants and seating areas outside of the halls, offering anything from a quick drink to a more substantial meal. For more details, click here.

Glee Birmingham is the UK’s biggest Garden Trade show and attracts more than Exhibitors with over 12, 000 visitors across the 3 open days.

Seminar and Features Information

1. Are seminars free to attend?
Yes, seminars are free to attend.

2. Are seminars ticketed?
No, our seminars are run on a first come, first served basis. All we advise is to arrive at the seminar, plenty of time before the start time to avoid disappointment.

International Information

1. Do I need a visa?
Not sure if you need a visa to visit the UK? To take a look at the UK Border Agency information page, click here.

2. I require an invitation letter to assist with my visa application. How do I apply?
Unfortunately we cannot issue personal/individual letters of invitation for visa purposes. Once you have registered via the show website you will receive a confirmation email which is sufficient for visa application.
