Show Features not to be missed at Glee 2016
Here's a highlight of all of the different show features across the exhibition space to help you find the brightest and best products and quality suppliers to keep your business growing in 2016 and beyond.
The Green Heart
Our plants and nursery section continues to grow!
Glee 2016 is looking forward to welcoming even more growers than last year. The Green Heart will be located in the Atrium, once again creating a magnificent greenhouse.
There’ll be loads on display including plants, shrubs, bedding plants, benches, display systems, Christmas tree, accessories, grasses, herbs, houseplants, labels, ornamentals and much more.
Run in partnership with the Horticultural Trade Association, Glee offers the most insightful and relevant content and seminars from prominent industry speakers and the opportunity to learn from your peers in frank and open case studies. This year there is a focus on what the Garden Centre of 2020 will look like and who it caters for along with workshops and presentations on attracting the younger generation of shoppers to the Garden Centre and converting them to places of ‘retail experiences.’
Food & Catering area
The food area will host an array of catering and food suppliers providing you the produce you need whether you’re setting up your first café or have a booming catering area.
GIMA Business Lounge
Working with GIMA, Glee are pleased to present the GIMA Business Lounge, an ideal place to take a break, arrange meetings and catch up with key suppliers. It is also home to the “Buyers Connect” speed networking sessions which will see selected exhibitors meet with show visitors for 10 minute slots for a power-networking session.
International Buyers Centre
International buyers centre in partnership with Gardenex
Gardenex is the UK trade association which promotes exports of garden products and provides a range of information and services for international buyers. The latest edition of the Directory of British Garden & Leisure Products will be given to all visitors to the International Buyers’ Centre located in Hall 18 at the show.
Gardenex will be hosting the International Buyers Connect sessions at Glee, where buyers can attend 10 minute introductory meetings with potential new suppliers. In addition to this, there will also be email facilities, free refreshments and access to cloakrooms.
Please contact Charlie@gardenex.com if you would be interested in participating.
Helping the industry to grow, the Innovators Zone at Glee is the place to find completely new, start-up companies, just launching to the gardening sector. These guys have some fantastic new products that they are keen to get into the wider world. Make sure you stay ahead of the trend and see what they have to offer!
