Glee New Product Awards 2009: WINNERS ANNOUNCEMENT
The winners of Glee New Products – Glee’s hotly contended annual competition to find the year’s most innovative new garden, leisure and pet care products – have been announced.
With over 250 entries received, this year’s Glee New Products Awards have been a fiercely fought competition. A team of independent, expert judges from the garden, pet and leisure industries reviewed the products in each category on Glee’s opening morning, rating each entry against a spread of exacting commercial, practical and environmental criteria.
Considerations included innovation; design and originality; how well consumer needs are met; and any unique features or technologies setting the product apart from competitors. Products were also judged for quality, fitness for purpose, environmental impact; value for money and a range of packaging considerations.
All of this year’s Glee New Product entries – including the winners – are on prominent display throughout the show. Garden and Leisure products are showcased in a dedicated area in Hall 5, whilst Pet and Aquatic entries can be seen at the heart of Petindex in Hall 3.
