Glee Best Stand Award – and the winner is….?
Glee’s new attraction – the Glee Best Stand Award – has proved to be a fiercely fought competition. With so much creative design and unique, eye catching structures on display throughout the show, the judges had a tough task deciding upon the worthy winners. However, after much deliberation the winners have now been announced.
Judged by Mike Wyatt from Garden Trade News, Coolings Nurseries Chairman, Paul Cooling and garden and retail consultant, Roger Crooks, the winners were revealed at the Glee exhibitor drinks reception last night (Monday 21st September).
The winners are:
Best Shell Scheme Stand winner: Inspired Gardens (Hall 5, stand K62)
Best Space Stand (up to 60m²) winner: Vivid Arts (Hall 4, stand H6)
Best Large Space Stand (over 60m²) winner: Gardman (Hall 5, stand B40)
Talking about the excellent stand designs from across the show, the judges said: “We had a tough choice deciding on our winners as the quality of design, unique features and imaginative use of space on offer was second to none. However we feel that the winners clearly demonstrated that original design can really stop people in their tracks and create instant brand and product awareness.”
Glee show director, Daniel Thurlow added: “Congratulations to the winners of this, Glee’s newest coveted title. All three are highly deserving winners as they have all clearly demonstrated that by utilising imaginative design, clever planning, plus a wide range of colours, visual aids and merchandise it is possible to create really stunning displays that can draw more people onto your stand and ultimately boost business for the future. I’d also like to say a huge thank you to our judges for providing both their time and valued expertise.”
The Glee Best Stand Awards were sponsored by the UK’s leading name in events and exhibition services, Melville.
