| Nature’s Wellness named Pet Food of the Year 11 Feb 2009 By Mary Clarke
Iams Nature’s Wellness Cat was been named Petfood of the Year in last week’s Product of the Year awards. Iams said the award recognises the product’s healthy balance and the company’s commitment to the long-term health of cats. Iams UK and Ireland business leader Sophie Holdcroft said: "We were pleased and delighted to win the Product of the Year award for Iams Nature's Wellness Cat dry food cat-food. Iams is a brand that is all about offering cats a healthy diet for a lifetime of love. It is great that this award recognises that." Nature’s Wellness, which launched last February, is aimed at the premium end of the pet food market and contains 26 per cent meat along with tomatoes, peas, carrots, spinach and apple. The company has branded the cat food as a five-a-day food, reflecting the Government’s healthy eating campaign aimed at humans. The food is available in Wholesome Chicken and Norwegian Salmon and there is also a variety of Nature’s Wellness designed for dogs. Recommended retail prices for Nature’s Wellness range from £1.78 to £29.99, depending on pack size. Related articles in this category: Pet food |
