The team are now planning for upcoming shows, Spoga & Glee, which they will use to offer the bestselling solutions in timber garden furniture in order to help retailers to continue to bounce back from the COVID-19 crisis. EKJU look forward to bringing UK customers upto speed at Glee with exciting developments within the business. Customers can now buy EKJU products in 2 formats; the traditional retail in store format and the new Ecommerce Range which transforms established key product lines into ecommerce ready packaging which a retailer can send direct to a customers’ home, without having to use specialist packaging themselves. The Ecommerce Range features the same standards set in the timber management process twinned with a combination of carefully selected packaging components to protect each individual product in transit. The Ecommerce Range is packaged using sturdy cardboard and strong strapping to ensure the product is kept compact during transit. Product lines in the range come flat packed with full instructions and clear labelling as standard. All products also include guided drill holes and fixings to aid product self-assembly. With the recent COVID-19 crisis and increased home delivery demand, EKJU have seen a fantastic response to the launch of this range. Products on offer include garden furniture lines such as the ‘Cesis’ Table Set, Round Table with backrests and the Double Relax Chair. Furniture lines such as the Relax Chair have seen noticeable increases in sales as people have invested in outdoor living due to the increased time spent at home during lockdown enjoying recent good weather. The momentum of a successful start to 2020 has resulted in the decision to press on with another exciting development, the formation of EKJU UK Ltd and a key logistics partnership which will increase delivery frequencies and efficiencies in the UK, by having a permanent strategic base. This distribution hub will enable stock coverage of key seasonal garden furniture and grow your own product lines in a well-positioned central UK location. This will mean that EKJU will have a dedicated resource to continuously improve customer service and promote the full EKJU product range to new prospects in the UK. The new arm of EKJU will hold the same company identity and brand ethos which has created such a solid reputation for consistency and reliability, whilst always thinking of the environment.
