My current gardening journey began by being a part of a community food garden
team ten years ago and then studying horticulture and garden design. Although my
first love was growing food, a passion was sparked for all things horticultural. I now
write The Urban Veg Patch blog about growing food, herbs and flowers for city
spaces, whether that’s a balcony, windowsill, a few pots, an urban garden or just a
corner of an office desk. I’ve chatted on local radio about city gardening issues, been
invited to speak about greening office environments and written about gardening for
a well known online journal. I live in London and feel privileged to work as a
gardener, garden designer, writer, and blogger.
The Urban Veg Patch blog was a finalist in the Garden Media Guild Blog of the Year
awards 2015, and has received mentions in the Telegraph, Gardener’s World
magazine, Grow Your Own, and Kitchen Garden.
