We are all super excited with our fast-approaching show and look forward to welcoming you in June. There are wonderful things happening behind the scenes and we want to warmly invite you to participate.

The ‘Power of One at Glee’ is about all of us coming together as one group of people, from visitors to exhibitors, and do something for the environment and to support the incredible work of Greenfingers, our long-standing charity partner. So, what can you do?

Plant a Tree

It’s simple. By attending Glee 2022 you’re eligible to redeem a GLEE-TREE code and Grow My Tree will plant a tree on your behalf.  We will send you an email after the show with all the information you need to redeem the code until 31st July 2022. Trees are only planted for the codes that are redeemed.

Glee also offers exhibitors a 10% discount to purchase trees. After selecting the tree bundle of your choice, check out using the discount code GLEE2022. You can then create a Tree Account in your company’s name and download a digital certificate to share on your website and social media platforms. Click here to plant up to 440 trees, but you can also purchase a larger quantity here.

Floral Thursday

Everyone is invited to show their flower power by dressing floral on Glee’s final day. The main point is to support Greenfingers, a national charity dedicated to creating magical and inspiring gardens for life-limited children, and their families who spend time in hospices.

To do this, you need to wear florals and purchase a raffle ticket. You may even win one of the fabulous prizes! This is the time to dig out your boldest floral shirt, dainty flowery dress and everything in-between! Don’t forget to share it on social to help raise awareness about this wonderful initiative.  

Floral Thursday is a special FUNdraising activity where thousands of visitors and exhibitors come together to show their flower power in aid of Greenfingers’ ongoing fundraising activities. In 2019, when the first Floral Thursday took place at Glee, over £1,420 was raised for Greenfingers, with the array of floral looks bringing smiles to the faces of everyone who took part.

New Product Showcase Donation

Further supporting the Greenfingers charity, entries into the Glee New Products Showcase in 2022 can help to raise much needed funds. Any brand that enters the awards can donate their product sample, where it will be auctioned by Greenfingers’ Bedford-based auction partners, W&H Peacock. The funds help Greenfingers to continue building therapeutic gardens in children’s hospices throughout the country.

Glee will also be working with Event Cycle to help exhibitors remove and repurpose any items that otherwise would have been thrown away. Event Cycle help reduce waste from events and create a positive social impact in the process.

Item donated by exhibitors are given to charity and community groups, as well as back into the events industry. Exhibitors can find out more about this initiative by visiting the Exhibitor Manual.

Wellbeing in Horticulture

Perennial will have a stand presence at Glee 2022 providing free and confidential advice, support and financial assistance to people of all ages working in or retired from horticulture. This help extends to spouses, partners and children.

Last, but certainly not least, the Young People in Horticulture Association, uniting and supporting under 35s who work in UK Horticulture, will also have a stand presence at Glee. They will take over our social so don’t forget to check it out!

It’s going to be a fun summer at Glee! You’re most welcome to join our party with live music, starting after 5pm on the first day. Just follow the signs to the Fire, Grill & Chill, our new outdoor space. Cheers!
