Responsible Sourcing

A brief history of the drivers to launching the Responsible Sourcing Scheme for Growing Media following the launch of the UK Governments plan to ban peat back in 2011. An explanation of how the scheme works and how it equally measures all substrates used in growing media from peat to wood fibre, bark, green compost and coir so that retailers, growers and consumers can make educated decisions about how responsible their growing media decisions are and to ensure that everything that we replace peat with is more responsible than peat.
