Some words from the founder of Bustaseed, detailing the journey from his inital idea, to concept and the final product.

Our Extra Durable Bustaseed Tip Out Propagation Kit won the award in the Sustainable Design category at the prestigious Institute of Designers in Ireland Awards November 2020.

It is designed to be extra durable, fully and easily recyclable, easy to handle and allows simple extraction to prevent damage to stems / roots. Root transplant shock is dramatically reduced and the white insert rows produce stronger plant growth as the white colour reflects light to all parts of the seedling / cutting. The compost and root systems can be monitored for distribution & hydration and for pests, mould, diseases etc as the module insert rows are open fronted. Watering is from below and the excess can be poured out for use elsewhere in the garden to conserve water.
