At Glee we love hearing about the journeys garden centres and our visitors have been on to get where they are today, their inspirations and their struggles.

Alton’s Garden Centre started over 47 years ago, and is very much a traditional and family run business which has flourished off the back off a great passion for the gardening industry.

What's new?

Glee has a new home this September, our exciting new location consists of new halls, a new layout and even new features! As with every garden centre and retailer we understand the importance of change; it’s important to keep shop floors varied and that’s exactly what we are doing with Glee this September.  

The Glee refresh gives visitors like you a fantastic opportunity to find your existing suppliers, new potential suppliers and your next best sellers, whilst navigating round our new halls; 6, 7, 8, 19 and 20 with ease.

Guided tours around Glee

The brand-new Discovery Tours are open to all visitors on a first come first serve basis and offer attendees an exclusive guided walk around Glee, highlighting ‘must visit’ areas and stands. The aim of the tours are so visitors and their buying teams can understand and learn how to better merchandise and sell the products that they purchase at the show.

Exciting seminar content

The 2018 show will see an increase in the main seminar stage content, with fantastic speakers and content focussed around Inspiration, Garden Retail Trends and Business Skills.

Not only will we be upping the ante on the main seminar stage, we will also be launching an exciting new seminar stage in the Pets at Glee sector!

Our newly enhanced show sector, Pets at Glee, has a brand new look and dedicated space at the show this September. Showcasing even more brands and tonnes more fantastic products, the sector will even have its own Seminar stage which will be focussing on the challenges and best practice, that Garden Centres can utilise when implementing and running a pet sector within their stores.
