Empathy unveils new products for the 2021 season
Building on the successful introduction of its striking white and green product packaging, Empathy is rolling out the new look across its entire After Plant bio-fertiliser range, and introducing two new products to buyers for the 2021 season.

Building on the successful introduction of its striking white and green product packaging, Empathy is rolling out the new look across its entire After Plant bio-fertiliser range, and introducing two new products to buyers for the 2021 season.

The new After Plant for Climbers & Flowering Plants exchanges out the All Purpose version of the company’s granular offering to create a complete plant specific range, thank includes five variations for plants, trees and shrubs.

Designed for plants grown in garden soil, the new addition combines rootgrow™ mycorrhizal fungi and beneficial bacteria to unlock nutrients and provide a sustained food source, supporting them by seeking available nutrients in the soil and enhancing it with beneficial microbes, to produce healthier plants and bigger, more abundant blooms.


The existing packaging for both After Plant granular and liquid bio-fertilisers will be phased out over the coming months and replaced with the new livery.


A further addition to the range is Bulb Starter with rootgrow™ 250g, designed to give bulbs, corms and tubers the best start possible by introducing and enhancing microbial life in the soil. The combination of mycorrhizal fungi and natural humate helps to build a healthy root system and soil and provides continued support for the lifetime of the plant.


Bulb Starter is currently available in 500g, the smaller, 250g pack aims to maximise link sales within bulb display areas.


Speaking about the company’s latest additions Empathy’s Simon Taylor said: “Our new products have been created to make plant and bulb sales within garden centres more profitable; each of our key add-on products is supported by POS that can be placed within plantaria and bulb sections featuring clear and concise customer-focussed messaging.”


The company’s wide range includes products for all seasons, each carrying the reassuring RHS branding and endorsement covering bird feed, lawn care, solid fertilisers and liquid feeds for edibles and ornamentals plus, the best selling rootgrow™ mycorrhizal fungi.
