Legacy is a special new apple tree released to mark our 125th Anniversary, celebrating our heritage while supporting a meaningful cause. This special Apple is a highly attractive colour sport of the highly regarded Pinova apple which is renowned for disease resistance, annual productivity and long natural home storage with a firm snappy crunch and excellent sweet and aromatic profile. This full complex flavour has an abundance of citrus tones very pleasing to a broad spectrum of apple lovers. The compact growth habit is ideal for gardens and its attractive mid to late season flowers ensure a full on crop every year. It is naturally resistant to scab making it a health tree. One of the most unique characteristics is that the apples hang on the tree nearly all winter (up to mid-January) so it naturally stores on the tree rather owners having to find space to store all the apples. This means it can be enjoyed fresh from the tree nearly all winter, after this, the apple can be enjoyed by birds such as field fairs and the like. A great garden apple.
