Timbex® brings a new level of realism to composite decking, combining the natural beauty and character of real timber with the durability, performance and low maintenance benefits of modern composite technology.
Inspired by carefully selected natural oak, Timbex® has been developed to capture the authentic texture, grain and character of genuine timber. Each board features a distinctive, non-repeating grain pattern, creating natural variation across the surface rather than the uniform appearance often associated with traditional composite decking.

Engineered for Performance
Behind its authentic timber appearance is a highly engineered construction designed for long-term outdoor performance.
The solid-core board incorporates an advanced foamed polyurethane surface layer, providing a highly durable exterior while retaining the texture and tactile feel of natural wood. The innovative textured surface also helps to disguise the appearance of fixings, creating a clean and uninterrupted finish once installed.
At 29mm thick and 200mm wide, Timbex® is one of the most substantial boards in the APS decking collection. Its robust construction enables joist spans of up to 600mm, helping to optimize subframe design, reduce material requirements and improve installation efficiency.
Built for the British Climate
Timbex® has been developed to withstand the changing conditions of the British outdoors. Its advanced capped construction is designed to resist rot, warping and splintering, while providing excellent resistance to weathering, UV exposure and everyday scratching.
Unlike natural timber, Timbex® does not require regular staining, painting or sealing, making it a practical, low-maintenance alternative without compromising on the appearance of genuine wood.
