Team Glee puts its best foot forward for Greenfingers Charity

On Friday 22nd March Team Glee took part in the Greenfingers 20-mile Garden Re-Leaf walk. The event, which is in its 5th year, was attended by over 100 retailers and manufacturers from the UK garden industry, all with the focus of raising lots of awareness and, of course, plenty of money for this wonderful charity. The Glee team consisted of Matthew Mein, Grace Reilly, Amy Quaile, Daniel McAlpin, Siobhan Smith, Clarice Downes, Nina Leith, Ellis Rouch, Laura Wicks, Abimanyu Noviello, Lucy Power, Sakshi Sharma, Anneka Williams, Luke Murphy and Hinesh Tailor. They departed from World's End Garden Centre in Wendover, Aylesbury taking a 20-mile loop through the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside and along a large section of the Grand Union Canal, before finishing back at World's End for a well-deserved drink and some hot food!

The team successfully completed the walk in just over seven hours - quicker than in the past five years! The team, through this event, a Big Breakfast and a Bake Sale has raised over £1,600 for this amazing charity. ITE is proud to support these efforts and will be donating a further £1,000, bringing the total to £2,612.96. The money raised across the three events will go a long way towards helping Greenfingers build some wonderful gardens for a number of children's hospices across the UK.

We'd like to thank those of you who have donated so generously and if you would still like to give something to this great cause, please visit our just giving page:
