With over six years’ experience in the independent garden centre sector, I’ve worked my way from the shop floor to Sundries Manager and Buyer, gaining valuable experience across retail, buying, team development and customer service.

I now work for British Garden Centres, the UK’s largest garden centre group, where I’ve progressed from Department Manager to Shop Floor Manager. Alongside my retail career, I’m passionate about supporting my local community and getting involved in community-focused initiatives.

I’m particularly passionate about people, developing teams and attracting the next generation into the garden centre industry, and I’m delighted to be joining Guy at the NEC to share my experiences and thoughts on recruitment in our sector.
