Birchall is a family owned tea company based in London, with roots in the trade dating back over 150 years. We have won 98 Great taste Awards and are proud to be the UK's most awwarded tea for taste!

We specialise in single origin and blended black teas from East Africa and are proud that our teas are served daily on every major high street across the UK. 

We believe a cup of tea should not only taste good but be good for the Planet too. All our teas are packed in our new 100% solar powered tea factory in Wiltshire - the first of its kind in the UK! All of our tea bags and packaging are 100% plastic free. In 2020, we became the first tea company in the world to officially join the UN’s Climate Neutral Now Initiative and achieved the Carbon Neutral International Standard. We also hold Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance certification.
