Chirp Protect

Chirp Protect provides advanced, product-level security designed to help garden centres reduce theft without relying solely on traditional EAS gates.

Our system uses tamper-proof, magnet-resistant tags that attach directly to individual products, turning each item into its own active security point. Unlike conventional tags that can often be bypassed or removed with magnets, Chirp tags are engineered to resist interference and trigger an immediate alert the moment tampering or unauthorised removal is attempted.

For garden centres, this is particularly valuable where high-value, easily resold items such as tools, Jellycat soft toys, Legos, clothing and giftwear are frequent targets. Chirp Protect helps secure these products on the shop floor itself, rather than only at the exit.

Chirp Protect can also protect common blind spots such as cafes, toilets and outdoor areas, extending coverage beyond traditional retail spaces where theft often goes unnoticed.

The system is flexible and works in two key ways. Retailers can deploy Chirp Edge or Chirp Zone as standalone systems where no existing EAS infrastructure is in place, or they can integrate Chirp-compatible tags into their current RF or AM EAS systems. This allows garden centres to strengthen security without ripping out or replacing existing investments.

Chirp Protect also supports intelligent escalation, with tags designed to trigger real-time alerts that can be linked into wider store systems such as staff notifications, CCTV activation or internal monitoring tools via the ITS Box integration.

The result is a layered, modern approach to loss prevention that improves deterrence, increases staff awareness and reduces shrinkage, while maintaining a simple, practical setup suited to busy garden retail environments.
