In business in Canada for more than 40 years, FCMP Outdoor is a global leader in the development and manufacturing of many innovative gardening products.

In the late 1980’s, we were the creator of the first plastic molded barrel with the dedicated purpose of collecting and storing rainwater - The plastic rain barrel was born. Our rain barrels have been the gold standard in rainwater collection for more than 30 years with more than a half a million rain barrels sold across North America through both municipal and retail sales.

In the early 2000’s, our new composter design lifted the traditional compost pile onto a tumbling stand – The compost tumbler was born. Tumbling composters allow far greater aeration and they create finished compost much faster than a traditional pile.

Our next composter development was timed perfectly for the rise of ecommerce. Our IM4000 composter was the first tumbling composter on the market to be flat-packed like furniture resulting in the shipping box that is 1/3^rd the size of the assembled unit. The flat-pack design of the IM4000 composter is easily the most copied composter design on the planet with 100’s of knock-off versions.

Recent developments to our catalog include new wormeries, rain barrels, storage bins, and garden planters.
