Glee 2022

New show dates for 2022

2-featuredimage

We are excited to announce that for the first time in our 47 year history, Glee 2022 will take place on 28th-30th of June 2022.

As the UK’s leading garden retail show, we want to ensure that we continue to provide the most valuable experience for those involved.

After listening to the needs of our visitors and exhibitors, we are confident that the new June date line will better align within the buying cycle and the event cycle as a whole, leaving longer windows for lead-times and removing clashes within the buying calendar.

This is a big change for us, but one we believe is necessary for the growth of our community - and we look forward to the next chapter.

What our buyers said…

  • “Delighted to see the team at Glee reacting to the seismic shift in order patterns and moving the show to ensure they maintain their position as the foremost, and most useful show for the gardening industry. As we all react to the new world order scene, we need Glee to be there for us all to ensure the industry continues to grow.”
    Boyd Douglas-Davies
PR and Communications Director at British Garden Centres
  • “I love going to Glee and it is one of the first events to go onto my calendar at the beginning of the year. I go to meet with suppliers and colleagues, source new product and make informed decisions ready for the following year. A move from September to June will allow more time to put changes in place for our business.”
    Simon Bourne
    Perrywood Garden Centre Manager
  • “Woodlodge welcome the move of Glee to earlier in the year. With a predominately Far East supply chain and long lead times, it would allow us to showcase all of our products and gauge customer reaction whilst still having the flexibility to adapt ordering levels for the season ahead.”
    Michael Wooldridge
    Woodlodge’s Director
  • “The season will have just peaked, and sales are fresh in our minds. June is the ideal time to place orders and look at new products. With longer lead times from the Far East, it gives our suppliers an extra 10 weeks to get products into the UK. It also provides the opportunity to get all three garden trade shows under one roof at the same time, making buying far easier. We waste a lot of time travelling the country to showrooms before September but now we can save that time with three days at Glee.”
    Gerald Ingram
    Planters Garden Centres Director
